SQUADRONE.ES signs a strategic agreement with Robin Radar Systems to strengthen airspace protection in Spain.
The growing proliferation of drone use brings undeniable benefits to society in areas such as industry, logistics, and emergency management. However, their misuse can pose a threat to the security and privacy of individuals, facilities, and critical infrastructures.
In this context, protection can no longer be limited to the ground environment. The current consensus in the security and defense sector indicates that the most effective C-UAS systems are those that combine complementary technologies, maximizing detection and neutralization capabilities, reducing false alarms, and increasing operational reliability.
With this objective, SQUADRONE.ES, a Spanish company specializing in the integration of C-UAS systems, has signed a strategic agreement with Robin Radar Systems, a global reference in radar technology for drone detection.
Thanks to this alliance, both companies will offer more robust and complete solutions to armed forces, police forces, and critical infrastructure operators in Spain. The integration of the IRIS 3D 360 C-UAS radar into SQUADRONE.ES’s SQ Monitor platform will combine 3D / 360° radar detection capabilities, RF detection, and neutralization systems, in a single management and visualization environment, providing a coordinated and efficient response against unauthorized aerial threats.
This week, SQUADRONE.ES’s management team visited Robin Radar Systems’ facilities in The Hague (Netherlands) to formalize the agreement, and define the joint strategy for the coming months.
